A pompous young prince and his castle's servants are cursed by an enchantress. He is doomed to remain a hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. A strong, intelligent and caring Belle wonders into the Beast's castle in search of her imprisoned father Maurice. After taking his place she is supported by the enchanting characters of Lumiere, Cogsworth  and Mrs. Potts as she embarks on a love story as old as time.
